Pronunciation an spellin

Even if a word is spelt the same wey as in English, yaise the pronunciation that ye're maist comfortable wi in Scots. For example, and cud be pronounced an; freends cud be pronounced freens.

Different pairts o the country hae their ain wey o pronouncin words an the spellin here micht no reflect your particular wey. For example awa micht be pronounced awaw in your dialect.

We've yaised a feck o Central Belt Scots because it has aiblins been a bittie negleckit.

Be guidit by whit the bairns say and by whit ye say yersel.
